The lamp has its original bronze finish over spelter base, but has been rewired for safety. Way cool! This table lamp is made of metal and has a swivelling "eyeball" light which can be directed towards the desk for task light or upwards for picture lighting or spot lighting (photo on right hand side shows the back of the lamp with upfacing light). It still has its original cord and socket which are in good condition. But, if you prefer, we can rewire the lamp. Ideal for the student or home office in a modern decor. This is a charming set of matched pink glass ceiling light and lamp with grape motif and nickel silver accents. The pink glass when lit provides a warm soft glow for ambient lighting in the bedroom. The set dates from the 1930 - 1940's era. The set has been rewired and the lamp provided with a new socket and electrical cord. We can also supply a small, matching hall ceiling fixture, at additional charge. Please enquire. This pretty, well proportioned table lamp would grace any home. The lamp base is made of black veined marble, sculpted in typical Art Deco style. The black lamp shade is edged in in antique gold. The shade is branded New Brunswick Lamp Shade. The lamp as shown with the shade is about 17" high. The width across the lower base of the shade is 15". This pair of boudoir lamps (1940's) have amber bakelite stems and pink opaline, stepped glass bases. The height as shown to the top of the lamp shades is 15". We have added vintage lamp shades. If you look closely, you will see pink triangles on the fabric of the shades which echos the pink triangular glass bases of the lamps themselves. The lamps have been rewired and are ready to grace your home. For the Blue Mountain Pottery collector who has everything, we offer just one more! This pair of mocha table lamps are rare and desirable. They stand about 25" high to the tops of the lamp shades. The ceramic bases are 14" high and about 10" wide. The form of the base has a very satisfying proportion and pagoda-like shape. Although dating from the 1960's, these lamps still stand perfectly well in a contempory interior. These are large table lamps which would be too fragile and bulky to ship. Here is a sweet little table or desk lamp from the Arts and Crafts era, featuring the galleon or Spanish ship theme popular in the day. The metal base of the lamp has a place for pencils and paper clips, and it has a small insert for a photo or business card (empty in our photo). The light socket swivels to adjust for your lighting needs. The lampshade is modern but suits the look perfectly. As with all our lighting, the lamp base has been rewired to today's code. This pair of English oak lamps dates from the Arts and Crafts era (late Victorian). We have rewired and refurbished the lamps, and given them newer lampshades, so that they can enjoy a second life today as an elegant pair of candle lamps. As shown, the lamps stand 45 cm. high. The oak is nicely turned and detailed. The shades are black with gold satin interior and decorative cord trim. The lamps would also look good minus the lampshades, with a pair of flicker bulbs which we sell in the store. This pair of classic table lamps will grace your home. They stand about 30" high as shown. The gold iris decoration is hand-painted and artist-signed on both lamps. When we took the lamps apart to rewire them, we found the marks shown in photo 3 on the ceramic base. Heinrich Bavaria, we understand, was the forerunner of Villeroy & Bosch. The elegant lampshades and brass finial are new additions to the vintage lamp bases. This single table lamp reminds us of Imari pattern porcelain. However, we can find no marks to indicate its exact pattern or maker. The lamp base is hand-enamelled in a panelled oriental design and stands on an attractive claw-foot brass footing. We have provided a new lamp shade and brass finial. As shown, the lamp stands about 30" high. Here are two charming figural lamps for the bedroom or sitting room. We show only one lamp but there are two. They feature vintage ceramic birds on metal bases. We attribute the lamps to the 1940's when exotic birds and aubergine and lime colors were popular. The new lined fabric shades with fringes give a nod to Victorian decor. The total height of the lamps is about 26" high. They make quite a statement but still look fresh and light. Strictly speaking, these lamps are not a pair, because they are identical rather than being mirror imaged. Sorry, the lamps are for local purchase or local delivery only. We don't think it would feasible to ship the lamps. Here is a very hip black panther lamp. He is ceramic with three small planter pockets so that you can plant a realistic miniature jungle for him to prowl in. He comes complete with his original fiberglass lamp shade. This table lamp provides a decorative accent, especially in the evening when the leaded glass shade glows. The base is an original mission era oak table lamp with matching finial. It has its original wiring which seems to be in good condition, but this can be replaced with a modern cord at no additional charge if you wish. The shade coordinates well with the old base, but it probably was made somewhere in the period 1970 - 1990 as an Art Nouveau revival. It has a small break in one panel. A nice, affordable choice in table lamps in the Art Nouveau style. |
